Introduction to Furniture Construction (LEVEL 2): MAKING A SHAKER END TABLE

This woodworking class is for students who have completed the introductory, level 1 class here at Smith Vocational Adult Education or in a comparable program.  Students must have prior training in a woodworking class within the last five years.  Students will learn to layout, mill, assemble and finish a traditional shaker table with tapered legs and mortise and tenon joints.

7 sessions: Wednesdays 6pm - 8:30pm

Start Date: January 22, 2025

End Date: March 12, 2025

No class on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (School Winter Break)

Cost: $250 for 7 sessions
