Learn skills while preparing a smorgasbord of international meals with a professional chef. Each week a different country will be explored. This series of 4 classes is being taught by Stan Langston – with over 30 years of food experience including head chef of Stewart's Seafood Restaurant in Eastham, faculty dining room chef at the Harvard School of Government, culinary instructor at the Latham School in Brewster, and owner of Willow Tree Foods, provider of daily lunches to The Academy at Charlemont.

Here are the menus Chef Langston created to teach this spring:

  1. Brazil - Moqueica (Seafood Stew)
  2. Morocco - Vegetable Soup - Carrots, Parsnips and Pumpkin
  3. Mexico - Pozole Verde - Chicken & Pork, Chicken Stock, Hominy Corn with Green Chiles
  4. Burma - Khoa Soi (Spicy Noodle Soup) with Chicken

Bring someone with you - the second person is half price (except ingredients). Locally sourced food will be used whenever possible.

Time: Wednesdays, 6 – 8:30 pm, April 4 – May 2, 2018 (no class April 18)

Individual: $150 for 4 classes (plus $72 for ingredients payable to instructor)
 $225 for 4 classes (plus $144 for ingredients payable to instructor)
