Smith Vocational Adult Community Education
This comprehensive 50 hour EKG Technician Certification Program prepares students to take the National Healthcareer Association Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam. This course will include important practice and background information on anatomy and physiology of the heart, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics, legal aspects of patient contact, electrocardiography and stress testing. Students will practice with EKG equipment and perform hands on labs. Employment is expected to increase by 10% from 2016 – 2026 with a 2017 median annual wage of $55,270 (Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Projections).

Dates: October 19, 2020 - December 16, 2020 (Certification exam will be on Tuesday, December 22).
Time: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 - 9:30 pm
