The Bronze Certification is a program for those who have minimal field experience as an Oil heat technician. The Bronze Level certification will give individuals recognition and further incentive to train.
The program is designed to teach individuals the fundamental skills of Oil heat. This class is the first step towards a career as an Oil heat Service Technician.
Criteria to Earn Bronze Certification
- Minimum of 80-hours classroom & lab instruction at a NORA Certified School
- Passing the Bronze Certification exam
In order to upgrade from Bronze to Silver Certification, technicians must complete 20 hours of continuing education (CEUs) and work in the field for three years. Once the CEUs and field work are completed, the technician may apply for an upgrade to Silver Certification.
