Are you ready to step into a high‑demand, high‑skill career? Our Electrical Apprenticeship Readiness Program offers 200 hours of hands‑on, industry‑aligned training designed to prepare unemployed and underemployed job seekers for success in the electrical field.

A Schedule That Builds Real‑World Work Habits

200 instructional hours over just six weeks, with classes held:

  • Monday–Thursday schedule

  • Dates: Coming Spring 2027!
  • Cost: Free 
  • Eligibility: must be 18 years old or older, must be authorized to work in the US, must be unemployed or under-employed, must be a Massachusetts Resident.

This four‑day schedule mirrors a standard workday, helping participants build the stamina, routine, and professionalism needed for full‑time employment—while still keeping one weekday open for personal and family responsibilities.

Training That Blends Theory and Practice

Participants learn through a mix of:

  • Classroom instruction

  • Code review

  • Extensive hands‑on lab time

Training aligns with 237 CMR 22.01 learning objectives, including:

  • AC/DC theory

  • Wiring methods

  • Bonding and grounding

  • Job‑site safety

You won’t just learn concepts—you’ll apply them directly, building confidence and competence for the job site.

Individualized Support Every Step of the Way

  • One‑on‑one coaching on attendance and workplace expectations

  • Guidance to help you stay on track

  • Referrals to community resources when needed

Our goal is simple: help you complete the program successfully and be fully prepared for apprenticeship opportunities.  We will assist you every step of the way, from training to support in finding your apprenticeship.
